Your space settings are Backlog-specific, while your organization settings are related to your organization’s overall Nulab account.
Space settings, accessible by admins only, include:
- General settings
- User settings
- Project settings
- Subscription
To access your space settings, select your profile icon in the global navigation and then “Space settings.”
General settings
In your general space settings, you’ll find:
- Space: You have direct access to your organization settings, where you can change your space name or logo, and formatting rules. If you’re a Backlog legacy user, you can update your space name, logo, and owner directly on this page.
- Language and time: The language applied here doesn’t override a member’s own language settings, but Backlog timestamps are based on the overall space settings and not each member’s time zone.
- Disk usage: See how much storage your space uses for files, Subversion, Git, and issue, wiki, and pull request attachments. Admins will see a notification once the storage capacity goes over 80%. Once you reach your plan’s storage limit, you can’t add files, commit or push in Subversion or Git, or attach files to issues, wikis, or pull requests. Upgrade your plan, remove large files, or delete completed projects for more space.
- Access control: Depending on your plan, you can enforce two-factor authentication (Premium plan) and set IP address restrictions (Starter plan and above).
- Email settings: Set the time for Backlog report emails and connect directly to your organization settings to show or hide details in notification emails organization-wide.
- Information: Post an announcement that appears on the dashboard for all members.
- OpenAI API key: Register your OpenAI API key to use Backog’s AI summaries feature.
User settings
In user settings, you’ll find:
- User: Set member roles, privileges, and restrictions or connect to your organization settings to add and manage users.
- Team: See a list of existing teams and connect to your organization settings to manage or add teams.
