Markdown text formatting rules

Backlog supports 2 different formatting rules – Markdown and Backlog formatting rules. How

In this article, we will show the markdown formatting that we support.

Differences from standard markdown

Generally, with Markdown, one or more consecutive sentences without indents become a paragraph, and one or more blank lines will separate the paragraphs. With Standard Markdown, line breaks within a paragraph are ignored, but they will be shown in Backlog.

With standard Markdown, HTML tags are supported, but they will be ignored on Backlog for security reasons.
