Backlog 101: Shortcut keys

Shortcut keys offer a quick alternative to performing specific actions.

In this overview, we’ll go over:

  • Enabling shortcut keys

Enabling shortcut keys

To enable shortcut keys:

  • Select your profile icon in the global navigation.
  • Select “Personal settings.”
  • Select “User information” from the menu on the left.
  • Scroll down and select the “Enable shortcut keys” box.
  • Scroll down and select “Save.”

Project shortcut keys

Within a project, you can use the following shortcut keys to access the side menu and global navigation.

Issue details shortcut keys

Use the following shortcut keys to navigate within an issue details page:

Use the following shortcut keys to search for issues on the project issues page:

Go to the next page of search results

Open the pointed issue (background highlighted in yellow)

Batch issue update shortcut keys

Use the following shortcut keys when batch updating issues:

Move up or down while holding Shift key
