How to view files and commit history in Backlog

Once changes are committed in the Subversion repository, you can view the files, the commit history, and the file differences.

View files

To view a file:

  • Go to the project.
  • Select “Subversion” from the menu on the left.
  • Select a file (e.g., source code, HTML) to see the details. Image files are reduced in size.
  • Select to view the file in “Original format,” “Download,” or “Open in browser” using the buttons.

View commit differences and history

To view a file’s differences and history: 

  • Go to the Subversion repository to see a list of updated paths.

  • Select “Differences” to see the differences between revisions, which you can filter by date.

  • Select “Histories” to view the revision history, updater, date updated, and comments.
