How to find diagrams from deleted members in Cacoo

Deleting a member from an organization doesn’t delete their diagrams. Instead, ownership of their diagrams is transferred based on whether they’re located in a shared or private folder.

Ownership of diagrams in private folders is transferred to the organization’s earliest active admin and can be found in their dashboard in a private folder titled with the deleted member’s name.

Ownership of diagrams in shared folders is transferred to the earliest active folder collaborator with owner or editor privileges. If the deleted member was the only one with owner or editor privileges, diagrams are transferred to the organization’s earliest active admin. In both cases, the diagrams remain in the shared folder.

The new owner and all admins get a notification in Cacoo after diagram ownership is transferred.

Transfer of ownership doesn’t apply to inactive members or diagrams of members deleted before April 14, 2021.
