In addition to the hundreds of templates in our library, Cacoo allows you to create and save your own custom templates.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to:
- Create a custom template
- Update a custom template
- Remove a custom template from the library
Create a custom template
To save a board as a custom template:
- Open the board.
- Click on the arrow next to the board name in the top navigation.
- Select “Set board type.”
-
Select “Template.”
- Select the “Publish” button on the right side of the top navigation.
- The custom template will appear in the template library under “Custom templates.”
- In the dashboard, custom template boards are labeled as “Template” except for boards with blank sheets.
Update a custom template
Changes to a custom template can be saved by selecting the “Publish” button on the right side of the top navigation. Cacoo’s autosave function only applies to the board and doesn’t publish changes to the template library.
Remove a custom template from the library
There are two ways to remove custom templates from the template library:
- Archive the board.
- Change the board type to “Board” via the dropdown menu in the top navigation.
