There are a few ways to create new diagrams in Cacoo.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to:
- Create blank diagrams
- Use templates
- Organize diagrams
- Name diagrams
Create blank diagrams
There are three ways to create a blank diagram:
- Select “Create Diagram” on the top left corner of the dashboard.
- Enter “cacoo.new” in your browser’s address bar.
- Select “Blank diagram” from the template library.
Use templates
A template can give you a headstart on your project. To create a new diagram using a template, select the template icon on the top left of the dashboard sidebar.
This will open the template library where you can search hundreds of options. Search by keyword or category for templates to help you with brainstorming, infrastructure, decision-making, design, and more. To use a template, hover over the image and select “Use template.”
Organize diagrams
Once a diagram is created, it will automatically be saved to “My diagrams.” To move a diagram to a different folder:
- Select “Add to folder” in the top navigation of an open diagram.
- Select the destination folder.
Name diagrams
To name a new diagram:
- Select “New Diagram” in the top navigation of an open diagram.
- Enter the diagram name.
- Press “Enter” or click anywhere in the diagram to save the name.
