Only admins and members with audit log admin privileges can access an organization’s audit logs, and they’re automatically sent a file the first day of each month (2am UTC). They can also export and download current and past audit logs.
Export the current audit log
Exporting the current month’s audit log will only include information up to the current date. For example, if you download November’s audit log on November 15th, the file will only include activity from November 1 to 15.
To export the current month’s audit log:
- Go to your organization settings.
- Select the “Organization” tab at the top.
- Select “Audit log” from the menu on the left.
- Select the file you want to export.
- Select “Export.”
- Select “Continue” in the dialog.
- Select “Done.”
- You’ll get an email when the file is ready. Select “Download.”
- Select “Download” in the dialog.
Download past audit logs
To download past audit logs:
- Go to your organization settings.
- Select the “Organization” tab at the top.
- Select “Audit log” from the menu on the left.
- Select the file you want to export.
- Select the download icon.
