You can receive Flowbase notifications on Slack. This page explains how to add the Nulab Flowbase app to Slack and receive notifications.
Types of notifications you can receive
You can mainly receive these Nulab Flowbase notifications on Slack:
- When you are set as a task assignee.
- When a task in a workflow you created starts.
- When a task in a workflow you created is overdue.
- When a workflow you created is completed.
Good to know
You will receive these notifications via direct messages (DMs) from the Flowbase app in Slack.
How to set up notifications
To receive notifications, please add the Nulab Flowbase app to Slack first.
Good to know
You may need Admin privilege in Slack to add apps to your Slack workspace. If you do not have this privilege, please ask your Slack workspace administrator to add the app.
Here are the steps to add the Flowbase app:
- Open Flowbase.
- Click the "Organization Icon" > "Settings".
- Click "Add to Slack".
- Log into the Slack workspace where you want to receive notifications,or choose it from the drop-down menu.
- Check the details and click "Allow".
How to receive notifications for yourself
Here are the steps to receive your own Nulab Flowbase notifications on Slack. Please follow either of the methods below:
Running a command in a Slack channel
- Type /flowbase connectin any channel and send it.
- Click "Connect to Flowbase".
- Check the details and click "Connect".
Good to know
When you run this command in a channel, the result is visible only to you.
Running a command in the Flowbase app on Slack
Open "Apps" in the left sidebar of Slack.
If you cannot find the Flowbase app in the sidebar, please search for it in "Apps" under Slack "Tools".
- Select "Flowbase" and click "Open App".
- Type
/flowbase connectand send it. - Click "Connect to Flowbase".
- Check the details and click "Connect".
How to disconnect the integration
If you want to stop receiving notifications, please type /flowbase disconnect in any Slack channel and send it.
