Besides adding basic shapes and icons to your diagrams, you can locate more specific shapes and icons for applications such as AWS icons, Kubernetes icons, and custom shapes, etc., in the Library.
Add custom shapes
If custom shapes have been created, you can easily add them from the Library menu. To add them,
- Select “...” on the tool menu, and a Library panel will prompt at the left-hand side.
- On the Library panel, click on the Custom Shapes category. All the custom shapes categories will be displayed.
- Search or filter the shapes via the category drop-down menu, and drag and drop the custom shape onto the sheet.

The Custom Shapes category will display all the custom shapes that all members have created within the organization and shared with you via a shared folder.Add application icons
You can find more application icons in the Library.
- Select “...” on the tool menu, and a Library panel will prompt at the left-hand side.
- On the Library panel, you can view the different application icon categories. Click on a specific category.
- Locate the icon you wish to add and drag and drop the icon on the sheet.
Useful tip!
- To search with a keyword across all the categories, enter the keyword in the “Search all” bar at the Shapes Library panel.
- Some categories contain more icons/shapes, and they are broken down into subcategories. You can easily filter them by selecting from the drop-down menu.
- To search with a keyword within the category, select the specific category and enter the keyword in the Search bar.
