Issue’s email received log

You can easily keep track and view more details of the incoming email log for the issue registration on the received email log page. Details such as the date and time the email has been processed, the settings description name, email subject from senders, and whether the email has been successfully received and registered an issue in the project.

To view the email received log, select the Received email log tab. It will display all the incoming email logs from the newest date order. You can also select a specific log to view more about the received email details. 

Did you know?

The received email log will only display up to the latest 30 days history. 

Details of the successful adding issue via email

If an incoming email has been successfully received, an issue will be registered in the project. The log details page will state the issue has been successfully registered and followed by the issue key. To navigate to the registered issue page, click on the issue key

You can also further review the email content in the body section and the email source by clicking on the Display mail source.  

Details of failed in adding issue via email

If the issue registration fails for some reason, a ! icon is displayed on the Failed column on the Received email log page. To learn more about the reason, you can go to the log details page to state the error message.
