Backlog offers both cloud-hosted solutions and an on-premise solution. The main difference is that cloud-hosted solutions — Free, Starter, Standard and Premium Plan — are hosted on our servers while the on-premise solution — Enterprise Plan — is installed on your private server. 

With Backlog Enterprise, you get full control over your data, users, security settings, updates, and permissions. It is also more configurable, so you can create a workspace that is best suited for your individual business needs.
