How to access Backlog as a Legacy plan user

Backlog users who registered before September 8, 2017 are part of our Legacy plan and access Backlog via the backlog.jp or backlogtool.com domains. We’ve since released our new domain, backlog.com. You need a non-Managed Account (Nulab Account) to access Backlog via the new domain.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to:

  • Create a non-Managed Account
  • Connect your non-Managed Account to your Backlog Legacy plan
  • Disconnect your non-Managed Account from your Backlog Legacy plan

Create a non-Managed Account

If you’re a Backlog legacy user without a Cacoo account, you must sign up for Nulab products to create a non-Managed Account. With this account, you’ll be able to:

  • Update your account details including name, email, and password.
  • Manage security features including two-factor authentication and login alerts.
  • Sign in to all your Nulab products with the same email and password.

Connect your non-Managed Account to your Backlog Legacy plan

To connect your non-Managed Account to your Backlog Legacy plan:

  • Go to your space’s login page.
  • Select “Log in” below the “Log in with Nulab Account” section.

  • You’re redirected to another page to enter your Backlog user ID and password.
  • Check the “Use Nulab Account information” box.
  • Select “Connect.”

To connect to multiple Backlog spaces:

  • Log into your Backlog space.
  • Select the grid icon in the top right of the global navigation.
  • Select “Connect your Backlog space.”
  • Enter the space ID you want to connect.
  • Select the thunderbolt icon.

Disconnect your non-Managed Account from your Backlog Legacy plan

To disconnect your non-Managed Account from your Backlog Legacy plan:

  • Log into your Backlog space.
  • Select your profile icon in the global navigation.
  • Select “Personal settings.”
  • Select “User information” from the menu on the left.
  • At the bottom, select “Use Backlog user information.”
  • Select “Save.”
